WELCOME TO LEARNHUNTING.ORG

Getting started in hunting can feel overwhelming. What gear do I need? Where can I hunt? Who can I ask for help? LearnHunting.org was created to make that first step easier.

In this short video, you’ll see how new hunters and experienced mentors connect, what to expect from the program, and how mentorship helps people build confidence in the field.

HOW IT WORKS

1. CREATE A FREE ACCOUNT

Sign up as a new hunter or as an experienced mentor.

2. TELL US YOUR INTERESTS

Choose hunting interests such as deer, turkey, waterfowl, upland, small game, trapping, archery, firearms, or general outdoor skills.

3. FIND & MAKE A CONNECTION

For Mentees: Explore the mentor map, find someone who matches your interests, and reach out to start a conversation.

For Mentors: Create your profile, share your experience, and make yourself available to support new hunters.

4. BUILD SKILLS & CONFIDENCE

Mentors can help with gear selection, range practice, safety, scouting, finding places to hunt, field skills, and what to expect before, during, and after a hunt.

5. TAKE THE NEXT STEP

The goal is not just one hunt. The goal is helping new hunters become confident, safe, ethical, and independent.
